Samus vs. Alien
Done originally yet again in my small scetch book with pencil.
Coloured and otherwise refitted on my computer using PhotoStudio 7
Ive long sinse had this idea and drew it out probably over two years ago but its taken me forever to even half finish it.
I always figured Samus would be the best choice as a Xenomorph exterminator. Wicked alien designed Power armor with resistances to acid and extreme physical trauma, hightened Reflex and sences, night vision, and a huge assortment of versitile weapons. Yup that and the whole extermination of the Metroid species in the ol resume...
Enjoy!
Oh of course, its basically Suicide to fight those things at close range.
Samus would avoid close proximity confrontation whenever possible, however the energy field that the suit produces could give her a distinct advantage in a close range encounter.
Weather the suit can actually shrug off the potent effects of the acid or sustain heavy damge is debatable. Im sure she'd be okay as long as she wasnt completely drenced with it.
(running through pools of molten rock in Norfair or acid on SR-388 can be regularily )
That will be a cool idea! I mean, I can imagine playing a radom Metroid game and encountering an Alien! XD Great job on this!

What is the terror of Death?
That we die, our work incomplete.
What is the joy of life?
To die, knowing our task is done.
In each of us there burns a soul of a warrior
